Hosted by Perfect World, a key partner responsible for managing the Chinese versions of the game, this Major represents a significant milestone for the esports scene in the region.

With a revised format and an impressive prize pool, the Shanghai Major will showcase talented teams competing at the highest level. Shanghai Major Schedule

The Shanghai Major features three distinct phases: Opening StageElimination Stage, and Playoff Stage.

Opening Stage (November 30 – December 3)

  • Format: Swiss system
  • Teams: 16
  • Outcome: Top 8 advance, bottom 8 are eliminated

Elimination Stage (December 4 – 8)

  • Format: Swiss system
  • Teams: 16
  • Outcome: Top 8 qualify, bottom 8 removed

Playoff Stage (December 12 – 15)

  • Format: Single-elimination
  • Match format: Best of 3
