Before you can kick yourself, you need to enable the developer console:

  1. Launch CS2 and open the settings menu
  2. Click on the "Game" tab
  3. Find "Enable Developer Console (~)" and set it to "Yes"
  4. Press the tilde key (~) during gameplay to open the console

Once you have the console enabled, you have multiple options to kick yourself:

Method 1: Use the Disconnect Command

The simplest way is to type this command in the console:

  • disconnect

This will immediately remove you from the server and return you to the main menu.

Method 2: Call a Vote to Kick Yourself

If you want to properly leave a competitive match:

  • callvote kick [your user ID]

You'll need to know your user ID, which you can find by typing status in the console first.

Method 3: Use the Quit Command

If you want to exit the game completely:

  • quit

This will close CS2 entirely and return you to your desktop.

Remember that leaving competitive matches frequently can result in temporary bans.
