How to Turn Off Tracers in CS2

The process to turn off tracers in CS2 is very simple:
- Open the console in CS2 (make sure it's enabled in your game settings)
- Type this command: r_drawtracers_firstperson 0
- Press Enter to apply the command
The first-person tracers will now be disabled, giving you a cleaner view during gunfights.
You can re-enable tracers anytime by using the same command with a value of 1: r_drawtracers_firstperson 1
I've found this especially helpful when showing off new weapon skins I've gotten from a CS2 unboxing site like Skincade as the tracers won't interfere with admiring your gear.
This setting can significantly improve your aim by reducing visual distractions while maintaining the familiar spray patterns in CS2 that veteran players have mastered from previous versions.
