How to Fix CS2 Black Screen

CS2 black screen is a common issue that stops players from seeing the game even though they can hear it running.
I had this problem and found many working solutions.
The fastest fix is to add "-autoconfig" to your launch options:
- Open Steam
- Right-click Counter-Strike 2
- Click Properties
- Go to Launch Options
- Type "-autoconfig"
- Click OK and start the game
This will reset your game settings but should fix the black screen. You can remove "-autoconfig" after the game works again.
If that doesn't work, try running the game in windowed mode:
- Go back to Launch Options
- Type "-windowed -w 1920 -h 1080"
- Start the game
For players who still see a black screen, here are more fixes:
- Press Alt + Tab when the black screen appears
- Update your graphics card drivers
- Verify game files through Steam
- Restart your computer
Most players can fix this issue with the "-autoconfig" command. If you need to adjust settings after using it, just do it once the game runs normally.
